Sorry you guys are stuck with this version another week. I got halfway through item changes and then "important things" took up my time. Oh, and I probably won't be around for today's games either. :( On the plus side: Next week will have quite a few new items and possibly other stuff! :D

I realize you're not completely finished with the elf revamps but I wanted to bitch a little more about the need to nerf swashy. The amount of crits, stuns, and blinks makes that hero extremely powerful....And yes, the added items help. Alot.

Incinerate graphic effect seems to be messed up. Periodically displys/doesn't disply burst effect. Appears to work fine beyond that, though.

The evocation gloves should probably go in here. I've been punching in some quick numbers, and for the price, the gloves are pretty much a waste of money. For instance: A +5 Wisdom Ring gives SB an additional 27 dmg to Incinerate and 24 dmg to Carnage, at a cost of 3.5 k gold. the Evoc gloves, howev...

Did a 40 minute single to get the feel of some of his revamps. He seems very well balanced overall. I have a really hard time believing this is the case unless they were all low ranks without some decent evoc/int.On one game i was able to chain 3 soulstrikes together on a single target and still did crap dmg to it.

Soulstrike is complete garbage so there's absolutely no reason NOT to go Decoy/fiery explosion skill with 1-2 points in Mend+talent. His ult does ridiculous damage though, it's hilarious. Um....what? I'm not sure what your definition of a good spell is but...Soulstrike is a solid skill if upgraded ...

Same here. Gravel, BP, Scarab, and even Bane and Fenris come to mind....This doesn't seem to be a problem anymore since the added shield items seem particularly generous to tanking heroes.I will occasionally get the Mana Orb if I have a tank with low mana but spells that you need to use a lot.

I may be going way out of bounds with this statement, but I am pretty sure that you can use your heroes attack to kill the magic immune mercenaries. Since when? Mercs are primarily hired to aid in sieges.It is one of the reasons you hire mercs,
It's not a question of want to, and you're forgetting a third of the mercs are spell immune...if you don't want to use spells and stuff on them just hire your own mercs.

Honestly, people will figure it out quick enough when they go to temper it. It shouldn't be a huge issue. I'd say leave the 3 tier upgrade scale.

Keep in mind they are proportionally more expensive per upgrade, as well as the initial cost being higher. That, and you can only buy one of each.

Currently Shields upgrade as +0, +3, +5. I'm wondering, are people ok with that naming convention, or is it confusing ("wtf why did it skip 3 levels this is a bug")

Yeah and the Glacial item says it gives 5 stregnth at rank 0 when it actually gives 12. The rest of the time it scales properly though...which is 14 at rank 3 and 25 at rank 5 I believe.
