In Which Time Zone Do You Live?

There are probably better and more accurate ways to gather this data, but everybody loves a poll!

I'm including only the integral timezones for this.

Re: Time Zone Errors

Is it just me or are the time zones for the forums off by one hour? I set mine on Central and it's showing the time an hour ahead meaning it's on Eastern. I think all the designated time zones are ahead by one hour, because New Orleans deffinately isn't mountain time. You have DST enabled. I've cha...

Re: Forum Restructuring

Since people have had their say and want less specific forums, I've combined the general and hero/skill balance and suggestions forums (a few days ago, but I forgot to mention it). Let me know if there's anything else you want. I've also re-enabled the Hello Kitty skin, though it seems a little wonky.

Forum Restructuring

I meant to start a thread on this back when I actually restructured things, but I guess I got lazy. At any rate, what do you think of the new layout for the forums? What would you like to see changed? My goals in the restructuring were to: Establish an obvious structure and hierarchy Make the forum ...

Re: Ban Sieg2/A_New_Dawn?

If I'd do anything that would change the forum emu would instantly undo whatever I did, most of the things he undid were for better, but some I still believe would've made this place better (Only place to go is up). The moderators manage threads and maintain structure within forums; it's up to the ...

It's definitely up; it may be empty at times, but I should be in there at all times. (I just set my client so that it will have me join the channel when I connect to freenode.)

It was this thread.

By the way, there's no substantive reason to use freenode for our IRC needs; it happens to be the network I'm on anyway, but it's oriented more towards collaborative projects (particularly software development) than gaming.

phpBB has finally gone gold: We're now running 3.0.0! Since you're already planning to alert the media, it's a good thing that the phpBB Group prepared a press release for you to distribute.

In theory, you'll be able to use the channel to coordinate games. It just depends on there actually being other clan members online.

I've upgraded to Release Candidate 7 . (I didn't even see RC 6 before RC 7 came out: Take a look at RC 7 and you'll see why. :P) Apparently this upgrade causes some problems with nonstandard templates, so I've disabled the Hello Kitty skin for now. Re: Nigga stole my iPod

You could always get pepper spray (assuming it's legal in your state). I live in a third world country which has perhaps 30% less living standard then the USA, but it's safe to walk alone at night in any part of any city. "30% less living standard"? That's meaningless unless you indicate t...

What's with edit counts now being shown? I hate that. I like to edit a lot. Your edits will include a note of the edit if there is another post after it when you save your edit (that is, if somebody else posted after you), as was the case with phpBB 2. I tested this out just to be sure, although it...

As far as I know, this is not possible with phpBB, and I know of no Olympus MOD to add such a feature. If you want to request a MOD , you are free to do so, and I will consider implementing a finished version. But I think you would be sorely disappointed with the result: Your suggestion would not pr...

I would like to see the factions units diverge. Maybe not in excess, but enough to keep things unique. People choose factions for the heroes right now. Maybe making the units different will make people think about the army a bit too. It's hard enough to have unique factions that are still balanced ...
