Re: Not sure if this is allowed, but I'm gonna go for it.
IIRC, he was talking not about the spawning waves, but about the barracks. For instance, you would set it to spawn X unit, and it would add that unit to a wave, rather than 1 mana = 1 unit of any type. If you're referring to the Lumber Mill idea, I can see that it would be problematic, but at the sa...

Re: Not sure if this is allowed, but I'm gonna go for it.
Personally, I found that Casval's idea for Candleburg sounded really fun. For those of you who don't remember/can't find it: 1. Nerf all the towers on that map and make them have 1/4th or so HP. 2. On the other hand, your team AI will constantly be building towers and expanding outwards towards the ...

Re: Rings
this is neither a valid point because i have yet to ever reach a full inventory in Eota. Just 'cause you haven't done it, doesn't mean it can't be done. The issue is, if rings are cheaper, you'll start seeing things like a Divine Wizard with all 6 slots with +5 Int rings, because that would give hi...

Re: To allow, or not to allow.....the question about gay rights.
Because the tissue in the anus (unlike the vagina which has some resilience to STD's) has little or no protection. Since the body naturally absorbs protiens, and semen is packed full of them....you get the idea. Now this obviously DOESN'T mean every time a gay man has sex he'll contract an STD, nor...

How do you figure that? I say this because the gay people I know, by and large, lead cleaner and healthier lives than the straight people I know.DarkNemesis wrote:I said their lifestyles have a propensity to be much more destructive.

Re: To allow, or not to allow.....the question about gay rights.
It's that they are trying to ram a destructive lifestyle down our throats, without any personal say so. Sorry, what? I'm not forced to be gay, nor am I to be forced to marry someone who is gay. They're not proposing that at all. Care to explain how allowing gay people to marry is "ramming a de...

Well, no. Some spells simply don't target fliers, like Attack of Opportunity, for instance.

What a LIE!! RK has a passive called Imbued Equipment, Tactician has Great bow, and Sorrow Liege's Forlorn Crown might as well be a passive 'cause its an AURA for gods sake, who CARES if its switchable!! Except it's true. Those abilites are not purely passive abilities; they have an activated porti...

Here's a somewhat stupid idea. 1. Nerf all the towers on that map and make them have 1/4th or so HP. 2. On the other hand, your team AI will constantly be building towers and expanding outwards towards the other base. 3. Rework the barracks. Don't make them spawn waves, but make them like the Arcan...

Re: Looking ahead - Upgrades
I guess I'll throw some ideas down. Heavy melee units(Bears, Knights, Aboms, Annihilan): I see these things, if they were to fit any role, as tanks. To this end, perhaps giving them a magic resistance, as has already been mentioned? This would make them live longer. Human players can't really be tan...

Re: Left 4 Dead 2
Not to mention the 50 you paid to play the "beta" for L4D2 Yeah, that one really gets me. We got all of 4 versus campaigns and some survival. I'd hope they would smooth things over by giving those of us who bought their beta, L4D, some kind of discount on L4D2. But that makes little to no...

Re: Left 4 Dead 2
I dunno. I'm definitely gonna keep an eye on it, and get the demo, but I don't know if I'll go out and buy it if it's $50. I'm CERTAINLY not as psyched as I was for L4D; I'm kinda annoyed that we got used as, essentially, guinea pigs for the game. I guess I just don't see why this stuff can't be DLC...

Re: Hero Idea - High Inquisitor
. . .I'll think of something, unless you do it first. I just sit here and put ideas on the table; it's up to you to finalize it, it's your hero. That having been said, the best alternative I see is having it so that when each spirit dies, it does a small AoE; doesn't need to do damage, but I think ...

Re: Hero Idea - High Inquisitor
. . .I really don't see as to how this guy mimics the Lich. Rend Soul kills, Doombolt doesn't (Well, not all the time.) Rend Soul sometimes has an AoE effect, Doombolt always does. I could see attaching some kind of debuff to the Doombolt thing, just to secure it as a little more unique, but I think...

I dunno, Dekar, I far prefer the "Decloak behind their dispenser, have the sentry gun spin around and blow the Engineer who built it into the Stone Age while trying to hit you" method. =D
