Re: Come to our channel!
Hot girls, Alyssa is taking it all off! Trivia, heated games, all the time!!! You sadistic motherfucker. You just said Alyssa was so hot she's taking her clothes off, and you make her play heated games on top of that? What purpose could that possibly serve, anyways? Computers are more stable when t...

***LIVEJOURNAL MODE ENABLED*** Things I Learned From Pong... This weekend, we made Pong. It was supposed to be a learning exercise for me to teach one of the guys about OOP design, but he ended up teaching me more than I ever expected. I've been doing "Best Practices" for the past 3 years...

Re: Obama Inauguration
As long as race is the subject, my community college (predominantly black) doesn't get MLK day off, but my main college (predominantly white) does. As a side note, nobody in my Requirements Management class knew this, so we all showed up and waited for our (black) instructor to show up for a good 15...

Re: Obama Inauguration
Saw bits of it at school. Lots of black people saying how excited they were to be part of history. Not sure what kind of math they used to figure that one out, but I guess that means that since I'm white I've landed on the moon.

Re: Battle.net 2.0
I could run AHK for Natural-Selection and Day of Defeat: Source, in which I could very well make a pixel scan algorithm to function as an auto-aim. Good luck reading from video memory and applying a complicated heuristic like that in realtime using a non-compiled non-language like AHK of all things...
Re: Economy
Bullshit, especially now that i know its from zeitgeist ;P Yeah, I'll retract that. I was being intentionally extremist because this thread was all "Let's echo what we hear on the news and pretend we're actually discussing something so we feel intellectual." But if we're going to be serio...
Re: Economy
... it never ceases to amaze me how opinionated people can be when they have no idea what the fuck they are talking about I think that covers it. Prove me wrong. The only thing I can see you disputing is the 6 companies thing. My source for that is Zeitgeist, though, so honestly I sort of dispute i...

Re: Betting on your team.
Betting on your team is an apparent conflict of interest. If you manipulate the game, it is then an actual conflict of interest. No, conflict of interest can be the mere appearance of wrongdoing. This usually only applies to public officials and stuff, though -- people whose ethical duties rely on ...

Re: Betting on your team.
A conflict of interest is the entanglement of an individual’s private interests with his or her professional obligations, such that an independent observer might reasonably question whether the individual’s professional actions or decisions are improperly influenced by considerations of personal fi...

Re: Economy
Federal government's too big, bloated, and powerful. We keep going deeper in debt to pay for "special programs" that are billed to us as an economic panacea, but are in reality a short-term kickback to specific industries to keep them happy for a couple years -- hence giving the appearanc...

Re: Mystery solved....
Nemesis, I refer you to my officially unofficial guide to posting on the EotA forums , originally posted (appropriately enough) in ATTN: Dawn . Posting on a forum is kind of like blending in with zombies. You gotta look from a distance for a while and see how they behave and then try to blend in aro...
