Re: EotA: Twilight 1.14f12 Download
I'd like to add that it is very easy to defeat a team of insane ai with harpy using swoop and blade rain. Swoop can be almost impossible to dodge once it is at level 6. The talented knockback is hilarious. Behemoth (Reek) also seems overpowered, mostly due to miasma...unless it can be dispelled? I'm...

I mentioned something similar happening in the last version but was on Stormwail Peak.

Re: Hero Remarks
What do think about a category for heroes that can farm gold through killing units? I think Harpy can fall into that category along with others such as offensive casters. The gold can always be traded with allies or be used to buy mercenaries, heroes, outposts, towers, repairs, etc.

I agree with you. This becomes more apparent when you play many sc2 custom games. They just don't seem to be as good as many wc3 custom maps due to some lack of customization or convenience.

Re: EotA: Twilight 1.14f10 Download
Regarding heroes, I'm able to beat insane computers with Harpy and Murlock, which might indicate that they are a bit too strong, but I'm not able to judge how they would do with all human players. Harpy is very versatile for one because she can fly and get gold quickly and easily. I should also ment...

Re: EotA: Twilight 1.14f10 Download
I noticed that Storm Hammer +4 to +5 upgrade costs 3160 gold, which is higher than it used to be many versions ago. It is a 385 gold increase from the spreadsheet I have for EotA Items.

Not sure if this is already known, but Behemoth's Miasma is broken. The flies never go away and kill enemies quickly.

Re: EotA: Twilight 1.14f10 Download
So Insane computers don't really work if they are on a team with a human player? I'll put normal computers on my team instead.

Re: EotA: Twilight 1.14f10 Download
Haven't played in some time, but I noticed that I can no longer play with all insane computers (both teams) and expect to have a chance of winning. The computers on my team won't buy any items or put up any real challenge to the enemy team. Is there some mechanic that is causing me to do less damage...

Re: EotA: Twilight 1.14c6 Download
I'm not sure where you left off, but I can list a few suggestions. Fix: Polymorph interferes with unit movement, and invigorate (upgrade) stops movement of druids casting it repeatedly. Mercenary heroes appear to not buy items. Maybe AI can rebuild lost bases, and build over destroyed enemy bases (s...

Re: EotA: Twilight 1.14c5B Download
Hired heroes don't appear to buy any items. Just a reminder that innervate is still bugged (repeated casting and no movement), and I think the game might lag a lot near the end sometimes with computer heroes, which might not be that much of a problem...

Re: Socketed helmets: the good, bad, and ugly (give feedback)
First of all, thanks Sully for the list you provided. We all make mistakes so it's not that big of a deal that there were some in your list. I generally assume that effects apply to both hero and non-hero unless specified. I noticed that glacial wall’s frozen effect only applies to non-heroes but is...

Re: Socketed helmets: the good, bad, and ugly (give feedback)
Sorry if I was vague. To clarify what I'm asking for, I'll summarize it to: further explanation of each item. I know that the “5% chance for enemy units to flee in terror for 4 seconds” is a passive effect, but I still don't know what causes the effect to occur. Could it be attacking an enemy unit, ...

Re: Socketed helmets: the good, bad, and ugly (give feedback)
You obviously don’t understand what I said so I’ll give you an example of what I mean. What triggers the effect of “5% chance for enemy units to flee in terror for 4 seconds”? Obviously it is not clicking on the item. You already stated that “The negative stats appear to stack continuously” which ha...

Re: Socketed helmets: the good, bad, and ugly (give feedback)
It is difficult to assess the value of each item without further explanation of their effects. It would be nice to know details about the effect's cooldown, what triggers the effect, and if the effect stacks.

Re: L2P
Health bars are off by default so I recommend turning them on by going to Menu->Options->Gameplay->Always show health bars. I think teamwork will have the largest contribution to winning in most cases. Deciding who will control unit upgrades and spawning towers can prevent discrepencies. Also, knowi...

Re: Item Additions: Sockets
I think of gems/sockets as a way of adding to the customization of the character. Another way to customize the character is to allow the user to choose between item effects. Of course, adding more to the game in this way requires more attention to balancing stats and effects since any minor imbalanc...

Re: High Oracle: Maximizing Auto-Attack DPS with Level 6 Zen Arc
That is correct. This is my first time posting on forums, so I don't know how to create tables. For the best item sets, read them from top to bottom. I should also clarify that in 2*(Int.+Dmg.)=Agi+1.5*AS+70, Dmg. also includes the Damage bought with crystal. I'll see if I can edit the original post.

Re: Items
The agility for Helm of Champions is incorrect. Should be 5, 7, 10, 14, 19, 25. I also decided to add a column for total armor = armor + agi/10, and a row for Guiding Gloves. Thanks for the data. Just wondering, is there an attack speed cap in EotA?
