Some sort of extra bonus for killing a hero with an Artefact, based on how upgraded it is. Extra 1/2/3/4/5/6 crystal for example. mercenaries at the very start of the game tend to be a little hard, specially if the other team buys items or doesn't pool to summon their own, maybe make it so mercs can't be bought for first 2 minutes of the game.

putrid's stumps are only attacking heroes in 1.12c7
also don't know if its a bug but the locusts only give 1 mana per attack, the stumps seemed to of got mana faster in 1.12c5
