Re: Characters you do not play/do not like playing as?
Oh man I hate emberwraith. Idk why but I've never really viewed him as a valid hero pick, and start subconsciously hating anyone who picks him. I like his innate... and that's. Cone stun with no dmge? Wtf is that? Having to wave his arms around for 6 seconds to do moderate aoe dmge? Wtf is that? A p...

Re: Mana Residue
Ahhh so THAT'S what it was. I always thought it was just some odd dmge over time buff!

Re: Heroes of Newerth
How do you think HoN is going to compare to League of Legends? If you don't know, Guinsoo, the former dota mapper, formed Riot Games in LA and made LoL. Have you played Demigod? I know very little about HoN...

mind affecting/ shields
So a couple odd questions:
1: Bane's charge- how much health does it remove from shields?
2: What exactly is a "mind-affecting" debuff? (ala clairvoyance, tacticians valiant stand talent buff) all i could think of is brain freeze xD

Re: Lich in general...
You mentioned getting warrior rings on lich nemesis. Were you kidding? I don't get why you'd get those on a hero that does all its dmge from nuke. The base dmge isn't too great and the "stop death" is really just a bonus 400 hp or so. Why not get int rings instead?

Re: Area Domination
I have 2 suggestions that I think would make things smoother and more efficient- one would be a way to get more tiny obelisk towers! It is wonderful to have something so smooth to slip down that doesn't take much time. Also, i fully support cooperative building in every way possible- not just for ob...

Should be rune shell first, since the other two have nice secondary effects!

A comprehensive list would be appreciated. So far I know: aero mael with incerate for flame tornadoes ice spire on nightmare for freezing howl on nightmare for wake up+ dmge (says this on tooltip... lol) and there used to be dash through flame of the devout... think might have gotten taken out. Anyb...

Re: Make Swashbuckler require a high level
whoa whoa whoa what??? I introduce friends from dota to eota all the time and I without fail always recommend they try either swashy or fenris, simply because they are very dota-esque heroes. highly mobile, not too tanky, and excel at hero killing with a nuke. Maybe if you're a noob to all aos's the...

The first skirmish
The first 5 minutes of the game, you've got your hero and you ran mid lane of stormwail. Which hero do you pick to INSURE that you win the FIRST skirmish. None of the others matter, just the initial clash of a handful of creeps, and 2 level 1 heroes with 300 gold worth of items. My vote goes to eido...

Re: eota bot
Casval: I spent about a half hour reading your posts and they were all very intelligent and well written. You defended DotA as a skillful game and gave valuable input on things I both knew and agreed about (ie: -temper for all [on a side note, i'd actually prefer it removed, make people walk or give...

eota bot
Yeah I was wondering if there was any way to get it going for just a second so I could get my code then start keeping it in a .doc or something... I'm just a couple games away from being able to finally -temper so I can play like a pro, and don't wanna start again. Also, I want bragging rights. Any ...
