Exodus 1.2b Victory- Normal Mode
My friends and I had a lan over the holidays and we finally beat Exodus on normal mode after trying it sporadically over the last four years. It took a little skill and a little luck, and while three of us (Blue, Teal, Yellow) were pretty serious WC3 players back in the day, Red was kind of a journe...

Re: Fel Orc - Doomsday Dirigible
Refueling would have to be lickedy-split on this guy. Lots of potential for a heartbreaker if he is trying to escape and simply runs out of mana. Also, what happens in the case where he runs out of mana while being over water? It would be interesting to see how the editor would deal with the hero ru...

Re: Elreth's version of Exodus
Just a note: That one's grossly different from anything i made or elreth modified. DarnYak I... see what you mean. All of the heroes were perfectly balanced and thats why more need to be added, and the most creative is sadly called "Water Knight." Its fun looking at your triggers, though :)

Re: Anyone interested in playing Exodus on Northrend?
I'd be savvy for a game. My connection probably isn't going to be too hot connecting in Europe (it sucks in US East) but I will give 'er a shot anyway.

Radial/Conic Shockwave
I thought of this skill just before I went to bed last night and so i thought I would put it up on this board to see if anyone wants to use it. The basic idea of the skill would be that the hero launches shockwaves of an increasing number at each level. These shockwaves would get sent out at differe...

Elreth's version of Exodus
Does anyone have the version of Exodus that Elreth worked on? I would like to give it a try. Furthermore on the subject of Exodus, what heroes do you guys use for 2 or 3 man teams? My brother an I have been usually using a combo of Astral Mage and Forsaken Sentinel, but with ten minutes left on the ...

Re: If you could have one present in the last version of EotA...
Aw, bummer. Kedge was my favorite of the additional maps. And what about Zujani? From Exodus? I mean, he isn't a great hero to use in EotA, and his ult would be beyond lame, but I feel like its a start. Make cleave actually exciting by making it activatable and hurting friendly units or something, I...

Oh, I didn't realize that you had some work done on the demon race. I would have to assume its this Gron character everyone keeps talking about.
Maybe Gron could be an easter egg somewhere? A character model named "Gron's Revenge" sitting in a body of water with fog over top the water.

That is awesome.Tehw00tz wrote:I just beat Streets of Rage 2 with no continues. Make Axel a playable hero in EotA
I said revamp the heroes- take them to the ironing board so that when you are done with the map forever for real, what you do have completed is brilliant.
Re: Just FYI
I can see them now, driving around in the General Lee or some other muscle carDarnYak wrote:BP + Swashy: Alive, but never made it to the castle, they got seperated from everyone else during the undead attacks. The two of them have thier own adventure untill they eventually reach the other world

Past Exodus.
Re: Just FYI
Did the Rune Knight and Aeromancess ever hook up? And who does the Scarab want to win the Stanley Cup?
Perhaps something more serious; do any of the heroes survive from Twilight through Exodus? I was always curious of that.

Tidings!
Hello, its been a while. I just wanted to pop in here and say a couple things. I reinstalled WC3 onto my machine for the first time in 2 years today and played a round of twilight against the AI. My friends and I have also been playing Exodus frequently. The last time I really played Twilight was in...

Re: Seeking Spell ideas
Some sort of frosty shield type ability might be cool. Could it be possible for a hero to only be protected from a certain degree of angles? say like 180' in front of himself? If so it'd be cool if there was a frozen shield that protected against stuff coming at the hero from the front, but not from...

Re: Poll: is Christianity a "dangerous" religion?
Man, its feels like the point a couple of folks are trying to make is religion enslaves a person or something. First off, its called faith for a reason. You can't rationally prove that God exists- there will always be scientific evidence against it. At least I think so anyways. Maybe when the sky op...

I thought this was done almost a decade ago with the whole dynasty warriors concept. Sure, there are item recipes, but beyond that I don't see a whole lot of difference.

This is actually a good time to bring this topic up. See, I was an idiot and initially had the majority of my music files saved as RealMedia files. I need to find a good converter to change them all into MP3's. At the moment I can only listen to about 1/3 of my music files.

I think it would be a major mistake to remove this guy. I find that most of his skills are cool and I haven't really seen them before in other games. I especially like his smoking skill, but the regen side of the skill is kind of lame. Personally, I wouldn't mind if the smoking side of the skill bec...

In my experience, dots are a much better psychological weapon than straight nukes are. I generally think it would be a bad idea to have players in fear. Its not very fun to play when you are afraid.
